With 4 GPs, 1 Nurse, 1 paramedic, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner and a number of ARRS Roles who work regularly within the practice. We are seeking to recruit a Reception / Administrator on a part time basis to join our friendly, dynamic team! With a culture of delivering high quality care, you will act as the first point of contact for patients and visitors using the practice. Greet patients and visitors to the practice in a courteous, efficient, professional end empathic manner Book in, amend and cancel patient appointment inline with practice appointments procedures ensuing optimum efficiency of the appointment system. Ensure those patients without appointments but who need 'urgent consultations are booked into appropriate slots with the appropriate clinician. Receive and accurately record requests for home visits, assessing urgency in accordance with the Practices protocols. Print off home visit summary sheets. Ensure computerised appointment system is up-to-date. Respond and/or redirect all patient and visitor requests appropriately Explain practice arrangements and formal requirements to new patients and temporary residents, ensure procedures are completed.
