This post is essential in supporting with the establishment across the main sites. The Service Delivery Manager is an integral role within the directorate and strategically key in maintaining operational performance. The role requires someone who has the capability to identify opportunities for service redesign, focusing on patient centred approach to deliver through short and long term solutions. The Service Delivery Manager will support the Deputy General Manager and Business Managers on a day to day basis in the operational and business management of the Directorate including planning capacity and arranging short and long term cover within the administrative team. They will be responsible for overseeing the Information Technology needs of the services and ensuring data is captured, analysed and coded in a timely manner and ensuring high standards of patient record management and compliance. We are looking for someone with experience of operational management, who can balance the demands of a very busy workload and is dedicated to delivering excellent patient experience. You will need to have good communication and analytical skills and be able to demonstrate that you can lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team. The Directorate Service Delivery Manager will assist the Deputy General Manager (DGM) in developing, supporting and implementing plans for service improvement using modernisation techniques and involve patients in order to ensure that services have the required capacity to meet key clinical performance targets. This role will support the DGM and Business Managers (BM) on a day to day basis in the operational and business management of the Directorate. The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for the management of staff and budgets for designated areas and work with a wide variety of internal departments, services and external agencies. The Service Delivery Manager will deputise for the Business Managers and Deputy General Managers on all issues as appropriate. The post holder will be required to work across both St Mary's and Hammersmith Hospital/ Queen Charlotte & Chelsea Hospital sites.
