This is an ideal opportunity for a band 5 practitioner to advance their clinical skills, leadership and support the lead practitioner. We are looking to offer positions on a rotation pathway across Ophthalmology, Day Surgery and Main Theatres. Work within the multidisciplinary team in order to help achieve a high standard of patient care Contribute to good working relationships with all disciplines both within and outside the department Participate in regular staff meetings Ensure that the patient is treated with empathy and respect at all times Provide support and advocacy to the patient throughout their stay Participate in the promotion of the units philosophy Protect patient confidentiality and act according to the Data protection Act Answer the telephone in a professional manner, communicating any messages or queries to the correct practitioners.
