Extra 41% for hours between 20:00 and 06:00 & Sundays 83%for all hours worked within these times. This role may require you to travel throughout Yorkshire as and when required to other Ambulance Stations during your shift (transport provided) Duties to include: Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Operatives Process Ambulance Service Vehicles in a prescribed and controlled way that ensures each ambulance is fully equipped and prepared to attend and treat a patient. The role is a key operational support function, which ensures patient safety whilst supporting Operations in meeting its targets. Main duties include detailed cleaning and Infection Prevention and Control activities, checking and inspecting medical and lifting & handling equipment, restocking all consumables, and completing vehicle checks. Other duties include the preparation of consumables, stock control, re-fuelling and moving vehicles across various locations, recording all daily activities and the repatriation of equipment from Hospital Trusts.
