The Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse works clinically including unsocial hours and will be expected to work competently in all areas of the Emergency Department as well as being able to lead them. The Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse will assist the Senior Nursing Team with managing their own team of nurses and ensuring they meet their potential. As a band 6 Deputy Sister/Charge nurse in our busy Emergency Department, you will be activity involved in retention and recruitment. You will also be responsible for link roles giving you the opportunity to drive change and improve standards.
