An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Transformational HR team for 12 months due to additional short term funding. The successful candidate will be integral to the team as we work towards transforming and re-shaping the internal HR and OD service and providing a high quality, responsive service to all our employees and managers. The Transformational HR Team is part of the ICBs wider People Directorate, which provides system leadership and collaboration opportunities to deliver People initiatives across all sectors, professions and backgrounds across the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership. This is a varied, exciting, challenging but rewarding role. The Workforce Support Officer will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Transformational HR and L&D teams and be the first point of contact for enquiries relating to HR, Learning and Development and our Electronic Staff Records (ESR) system. Interviews will take place on 09 January 2024. As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for the provision of high quality administrative support; ranging from investigating and responding to enquiries from internal and external sources to the maintenance and accurate input of data on to the Electronic Staff Records (ESR) system, setting up and management of Learning and Development courses and the day to day administration of two shared mailboxes. You will deliver training on a 1:1 basis or in small groups relating to current processes or the implementation of new processes including recruitment, appraisals, pay progression and the ESR Manager Self Service function. You will provide basic HR advice surrounding recruitment, pay and terms and conditions of employment. You will need to quickly establish relationships with managers, teams or external organisations such as Occupational Health, payroll providers, NHS jobs and the Disclosure and Barring service. About us 1. To be responsible for the maintenance and accurate input of employee data onto the Workforce Information System Electronic Staff Record (ESR) ensuring the schedule of monthly deadlines are met. 2. Assist in the provision of a workforce information service through the timely production and retrieval of workforce reports/data for internal and external purposes, using judgement to identify any anomalies or discrepancies. 3. Maintain data quality of information on ESR ensuring information is up to date and relevant. 4. Respond to enquiries relating to workforce information and associated employee terms and conditions of service, providing basic HR advice. 5. Responsible for the administration and setting up of Learning and Development courses in ESR 6. Responsible for day-to-day administration of the ICB Learning Inbox, dealing with requests and queries, forwarding to the Snr Mgr; OD & L&D Lead where necessary 7.
