Assist in the provision of minor surgery and surgical procedures Chronic disease management assist with the monitoring and management of patients under the direction of a suitably qualified healthcare professional. Assist in raising awareness and promotion of health Give accurate and appropriate information to patients Assist the patient and other clinicians in the delivery of care in urgent or emergency situations, including initiation of effective emergency care Act as chaperone and assist patients Perform other clinical tasks as trained and agreed to meet the needs of the Practice Prepare and maintain environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions according to Infection Control guidelines Infection control monitoring: assist with audits as required. Maintain and control stock levels; ensure that adequate stock levels in all clinical rooms are maintained and rotated. Ensure daily, weekly and monthly checks are completed.
