The posts requires vision, innovation, and the ability to work with clinical teams and across professional boundaries, underpinned by a real desire to provide the highest standards of care. The post holder will provide comprehensive operational, change management and strategic support to the Division and will key in supporting the delivery of the Trusts Strategic objectives. You will be a key member of the Senior Management Team and will provide strong, visible leadership. You will have a range of responsibilities supporting the clinical and wider management to include:- Developing services across specialties Supporting the day-to-day operational management of the service Ensuring all performance targets are achieved within budget Work with and supporting lead clinicians in the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care in line with the Trust Strategic Objectives Providing line management and managerial leadership across teams Responsible for budgets within the areas of responsibility Experience of patient pathways eg ED, RTT, DM01, Cancer Performance Standards and waiting list management would be beneficial. You will work with the clinical teams to develop and streamline processes to ensure key performance indicators are met, as well as excellent customer service to our patients. You will have previous management experience, ideally within a healthcare setting. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who is positive with a can-do attitude. You will be solution focused and have the ability to effect change. On joining the Trust, we will support you through an intensive 4 week training programme that covers everything we think you will need to know so you can hit the ground running. As part of the Senior Management Team there will be a requirement to participate in an on-call duty manager rota.
