To support the ongoing development of the Recovery College in Leeds, we are now seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to take on a leadership role, supporting the ongoing development of the college, alongside the Recovery College Development Manager. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to the established Recovery College staff and facilitation team, hold responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the Recovery College, and work closely with the Recovery College Development Manager, to foster the ongoing development and growth of the college. We are seeking a candidate with staff and volunteer leadership experience, with proven skills in co-production and the management of community projects. You will have strong training and facilitation skills, with a good understanding of the core principals of personal recovery approaches, and how these work within a Recovery College. The Development Lead will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be confident engaging and working with a wide range of people including mental health service users, clinical staff, professional teams and community partners. This post is advertised subject to banding. Overseeing the day-to-day running, and operations of the Recovery College, alongside Recovery College Development Manager Provide leadership and supervision for the Recovery College team, as allocated by the Recovery College Development Manager. To lead on the development of the Recovery College community wellbeing programme, working in co-production with relevant stakeholders, volunteers, and other organisations to build capacity. To lead on the involvement and engagement of Recovery College co-facilitators and volunteers. Providing regular two-way communication, skills sharing, team building and networking opportunities. To ensure that all aspects of service delivery are underpinned by educational principles and the values of co-production and personal recovery.
