Ripley Medical Centre is a purpose-built practice and offers excellent consulting rooms that are well-equipped, spacious and comfortable. The surgery serves 6,000 patients in Ripley and the surrounding areas. Ripley has good road links with the A38 and M1, and is under 5 miles from Belper and under 12 miles from Derby and Matlock. It is Trust policy that for posts that are for a time limited period, applicants who are currently employed by an NHS organisation will only be appointed on a secondment basis and should have approval from their line manager this is possible before applying. Applicants who are not employed by an NHS organisation, will receive a fixed term contract. You will provide a portfolio of general medical services, including managing a caseload, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. To support the Lead Clinician and practice team to manage a busy and interesting clinical caseload. The appointee will have the opportunity to take part in leading on key disease areas and assist in developing appropriate healthcare services for a diverse patient list.
