Ripley Medical Centre is looking to recruit a GP on a fixed term / secondment basis to join our friendly practice team.

Ripley Medical Centre is a purpose-built practice and offers excellent consulting rooms that are well-equipped, spacious and comfortable. The surgery serves 6,000 patients in Ripley and the surrounding areas.

Ripley has good road links with the A38 and M1, and is under 5 miles from Belper and under 12 miles from Derby and Matlock.

The practice is rated good by the CQC and performs well against QOF and the GP Patient Survey.

  • You will provide a portfolio of general medical services, including managing a caseload, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
  • To support the Lead Clinician and practice team to manage a busy and interesting clinical caseload.
  • The appointee will have the opportunity to take part in leading on key disease areas and assist in developing appropriate healthcare services for a diverse patient list.
  • They will work collaboratively and support the Lead Clinician and practice team to manage a busy and interesting clinical caseload.
  • They will lead on key areas within the practice, such as specific QOF domains, quality standards, and practice initiatives, as agreed with the Clinical Lead and/or Practice Manager.
