The ward, which has been open since the summer of 2021, was designed in conjunction with over 100 patients to develop an environment that is supportive for the patients who use the service. The ward provides areas for patients, carers & staff & has a sensory room, art room & therapeutic corner for our service users. We have opportunities for caring & passionate Healthcare Support Workers who share the trusts vision to help individuals recover to a life beyond mental health. With a patient centred approach, we believe great Healthcare Support Workers don't just treat illness, they change lives. In joining us, you can expect ongoing support from a dedicated supervisor who will provide clinical support & facilitate your ongoing development & a wider commitment to ensuring that you can be the best Healthcare Support Worker possible. There is opportunity to further your training and we will provide access to training relevant to you and an opportunity to develop beyond this. We know how important a work life balance is & we are open to flexible working. There is an expectation to work unsocial hours & to meet the needs of the service, but we welcome & consider applications for part time working & condensed hours.
