Cherry Ward is a female-only ward for patients with acute mental health needs. The ward, which has been open since the summer of 2021, was designed in conjunction with over 100 patients to develop an environment that is supportive for the patients who use the service. The ward provides areas for patients, carers & staff & has a sensory room, art room & therapeutic corner for our service users.
We have opportunities for caring & passionate Healthcare Support Workers who share the trusts vision to help individuals recover to a life beyond mental health. With a patient centred approach, we believe great Healthcare Support Workers don't just treat illness, they change lives.

We know how important a work life balance is & we are open to flexible working. There is an expectation to work unsocial hours & to meet the needs of the service, but we welcome & consider applications for part time working & condensed hours.
To provide physical and psychological care to service users in accordance with the specified plan of clinical care.
