For this exciting post, the successful applicant will work closely (as job share) with the Professional Education team, educators, and clinical specialists to develop and support a range of structured training, education, and professional development programmes for staff at all levels and staff working in GHNHSFT, with educational collaboration with other organisations and workplaces including the wider ICS. The education and development of staff is paramount to ensuring patient safety and as a Professional Education team having an understanding of different educational and learning methods is imperative to creating the best learning environment for staff. This includes students on placements who are coming from Higher Education Institutes used to undertaking various methods of education, to newly registered clinicians on preceptorship programmes and established clinicians in various disciplines throughout the Trust; this includes nurses, midwives and AHPs. This role is integral in creating a culture change on SBE and TEL to non-medic education within professional education and CPD education and to evidence Quality Improvement and staff engagement.
