This role involves leading & overseeing the perinatal governance framework, ensuring robust risk management, incident investigation, & learning processes. You will drive continuous improvement in maternity & neonatal services, ensuring high standards of safety, effectiveness, & patient experience. You will work collaboratively across our integrated care system, regional networks, & national bodies to share learning & best practice. As an expert in governance, you will provide leadership on regulatory compliance, audit, & quality assurance to ensure services meet & exceed national standards. A key part of your role will be engaging with families, service users,& staff to foster a culture of openness, learning, & compassionate care. You will also support & mentor governance teams to develop their capability in quality improvement & assurance. We are looking for a highly experienced midwifery or nursing professional with a strong background in clinical governance, patient safety,& quality improvement.
