This role will be directly employed by South Wight Medical Practice. We are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic, and hard-working Patient Advisor to join our team. Our Advisers are trained to provide healthcare navigation and signposting in order to best meet our patient needs. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of medical terminology, should be highly motivated and able to work under pressure and must have excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude to carry out their duties. Our Advisors are a vital part of the Practice team as the link between our patients and the practice. The role involves dealing with patient queries both face-to-face, as well as on the telephone, along with other administrative duties relevant to the role. Basic computer skills, and the ability to be flexible are essential, as is your own transport as you will be expected to work across all three sites . General Practice experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
