The role involves providing therapy, managing 3-4 staff members, and taking responsibility for areas of team functioning and development. The senior staff support staff and trainees to move to adherence in the models and to develop clinically. We are looking for a clinical psychologist with experience in CBT or DBT, and an interest in developing towards adherence in both models. We are also interested in clinical psychologists with experience or interest in other third wave therapies such as CFT or ACT. Training in DBT will be provided by a consultant DBT trainer; training in CBT for personality disorder will be provided by BABCP accredited staff. Opportunities exist for training in other third wave CBT therapies. IMPART is closely linked to the psychology department at University College London, and staff participate in supporting the doctorate in clinical psychology through reflective practice facilitation, teaching, and research. IMPART staff benefit from a wide range of CPD available through UCL. IMPART was one of the three IAPT SMI demonstration sites for NHS England, and we continue to expand the evidence base for effective services. We work with a hybrid model, allowing staff to combine working on site with virtual working, thus supporting a better work/life balance.
