If so, then our senior administrator role may be just what you're looking for. We are looking for a senior administrator to join our Gainsborough admin team. The main base will be John Coupland Hospital. The senior administrator role involves planning staff and room allocation, resolving rota issues, training new staff, supervising the work of the admin assistants, assisting in the recruitment of new staff and ensuring orders are placed and authorised. You will work alongside the other PAS Senior Administrators across the county and report directly to the Team Lead for this area, supporting them in ensuring the team works reliably, responsively and in a caring way. This post will commence from April 2025 We are a dynamic team committed to delivering the highest standard of administrative service which you will support by providing day to day effective and efficient supervision: Supervise a team of administrators and take operational responsibility for the allocation of their work and shifts, ensuring sufficient appropriately trained staff for requirements. Resolve daily rota issues, working with colleagues in other areas to ensure cross-county community nursing cover if necessary. Train new staff to the required level of skill, raising any identified issues with the team lead. Supervise the work of admin assistants and support them with the more difficult jobs/situations. Cover the admin assistant role if short-staffed. Ensure orders are placed appropriately, GRN'd and authorised. Organise team meetings and ensure they are accurately recorded. Assist with recruitment (shortlisting and interviewing).
