To be a full member of the ward team, and assist in the smooth running of the ward. The role is to be agreed with the ward manager to meet the needs of the service. JOB PURPOSE To provide high quality reception services for the Trust and, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery and Customer Care, act as a first point of contact to patients, relatives or other members of the public. The post holder is expected to organise their workload in accordance with the demands of the Department. To co-ordinate his/her activities to ensure efficiency of service within the organisation. He/she should exercise initiative and it is vital that confidentiality is maintained at all times. He/she cover other receptionists duties when applicable due to staff shortage/sickness/annual leave. About us Ward Receptionist Guildford Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Trust Hours per week: 22.5 Job Type: Permanent We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and hardworking person to join Medicine Wards. This environment will provide successful candidates with opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge in a busy, acute medical ward. Motivated candidates will be supported to work with the clinical team providing clerical support to the ward and medical staff.
