In this role, you will lead the Digital Front Door programme, ensuring it aligns with business goals and measuring success through key performance indicators (KPIs). You will engage stakeholders by collaborating with clinicians, IT teams, and patient representatives to understand their requirements and secure support. Providing strong leadership, you will mentor project managers to ensure the effective delivery of digital solutions. Youll maintain governance structures and regularly report progress to senior management, while also identifying and mitigating programme risks and issues. Additionally, you will manage budget allocation and resource efficiency, staying updated on emerging technologies to enhance patient care. Lastly, you will facilitate change by implementing initiatives for the adoption of digital solutions and developing training plans to support users. You should have strong leadership skills to motivate project managers and a good understanding of NHS processes and challenges. Familiarity with digital platforms and tools in healthcare is important, as is experience managing projects across different teams. Financial skills, including budget management and ROI analysis, are essential, along with the ability to review and develop business cases. You should be comfortable leading meetings and Programme Boards, with experience reporting to senior leadership. A proven track record in leading change and building relationships with tech suppliers is also key. MSP or a similar programme management qualification is a plus.
