You will become an integral member of our supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high quality, patient centred dietetic care. The job will be a mix of in-patient and outpatients. In addition to the below summary you need to familiarise yourself with full Job Description and Person Specification documents attached to this advert. The post holder will provide dietetic support within a team of Consultants and Specialist nurses. Providing therapeutic dietary advice to children and young people with Inflammatory Bowel disease, coeliac disease along with single/multiple exclusion diets. The successful candidate will support nutritional interventions including oral nutrition and enteral feeding so some experience in these would be beneficial. They will also need to work closely with the broader MDT to optimise patient care with the aim of minimising admissions where possible. The post holder will also support audit and service evaluation to demonstrate the benefits of dietetic input within these patient pathways. The post holder would be supported by a Team Leader and Clinical Leads to deliver a consistent high quality dietetic service at NCH. About us You must have experience of working as a Dietitian. You will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, a flexible approach and the ability to manage your own time and workload and that of other members of staff within a supportive team. You will work alongside dietitians as well as dietetic technicians and dietetic assistants. We expect you to beenthusiastic, motivated and keen to develop your own skills and those of others. Experience of nutritional support is essential. Additional training will be provided. As part of this role it is essential that you will be able to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) accordingly to national and local guidance.
