You will contribute to the delivery and implementation of the strategic plan for the services, day to day operational management, and the provision of robust delivery plans to ensure access targets are met, delivery of high quality efficiency and effective services, that all key performance indicators are met, and ensure continuous development and review of processes for improving productivity and efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity within a positive and vibrant service, for an experienced manager who is looking for their next opportunity. Previous experience of working in an operational NHS acute management would be highly advantageous. You will be working as key part of the Clinical Delivery Group Management team and a proven track record of leading teams as well as undertaking the challenges of delivery in a fast paced acute setting is essential. You should be highly motivated, organised and able to work under high pressure. Please note interviews will be taking place w/c 23rd January 2025. To lead and develop the designated specialties within the Division with responsibility for operationally managing the service. To ensure the achievement of National, Regional, Trust and Divisional performance indicators (e.g. RTT, DM01 and Cancer targets), to deliver a high quality, effective service, where patient experience and patient safety is central. Responsible for ensuring the services are delivering against key standards and objectives, and are fit for purpose (e.g. GIRFT) In particular financial expenditure targets, costs control, CIPS, CQUIN, and activity targets for the Services. Ensuring waiting lists are triaged and clinical prioritisation of patients is captured to allow for patients to be treated within the timeframes stipulated within the national guidance. Lead on the management and continuous monitoring of demand and capacity for services, ensuring any gaps are closed through improvements in efficiencies or investment when required.
