Applicants must be IT literate, understand Docman 10, eRS and EMIS system, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be flexible, possesses a can do attitude and be a team player. In addition, the post-holder will also support the multi-disciplinary team, providing administrative support as required, in line with the needs of the practice This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours, working during our core opening hours 07:45-18:30 Monday to Friday. Processing patient administration including snomed coding, typing letters via docman10 Dealing with new patient registrations and deductions Dealing with & organising the practice mailboxes Processing recall letters as requested Processing referrals using electronic referral system (ERS) Inputting data into the patient's healthcare records as necessary Carrying out system searches as requested Supporting clinicians/Practice Manager with general administrative tasks as requested. About us The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by members of the practice administration team may include any or all of the items in the following list. Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the practice manager, dependent on current and evolving practice workload and staffing levels: o New Patient Registrations o Registration Workflow o EMIS Tasks o Maintaining EMIS o QoF Recalls o eRS referrals o Immunisation recalls (excluding childhood immunisations) o NHS Health Check Recall o Process documents & eConsults o Filing and retrieving paperwork o Managing Telephone System o IT Support With the addition of any other duties that would be required to perform this role. To undertake any other duties as may be determined from time to time to ensure the efficient running of the Practice. Add registrations to the system as per policy Promote, encourage and activate patient on-line access Ensure relevant/appropriate contacts with patients are documented in notes Ensure email, tasks, Docman and EMIS email are checked daily.
