In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Consultant and the clinical team to manage workloads, coordinate activities, and ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services. Please note that due to the nature of this role, it requires on-site presence and is not suitable for agile or remote working. This is a part time position working 16 hours (2 days) across the week at our ORBISH Sexual Health Service based in Rochdale. As a Medical Secretary your responsibilities will include: Provision of full secretarial service which includes typing letters, reports, non-clinical typing and recording minutes of meetings. Recording referrals, appointments and related information in a timely manner. Accurately transcribe all correspondence and reports by touch typing from audio dictation using knowledge of medical terminology. Undertake routine clerical duties distributing and dispatching mail, photocopying, responding to emails. Provide cover in the absence of other administrative staff answering the telephone, dealing with enquiries, taking messages and booking appointments. Support the Administration Manager in the day-to-day operational functions of the department.
