This will include: The management of resources such as medical rotas (senior and junior). The management of national and local performance targets. The management the various patient waiting lists such as RTT on a day-to-day basis. Providing support to the senior management team in the timely provision of data and information. Administrative support when required. Managing Performance Using a range of options including performance analysis, Consultant job plans and clinic template management, provide support to the Service Managers and Operational Manager to support construction of speciality activity plans and ensure each specialty is able to deliver planned performance against the agreed activity plan and national targets. Monitor and review the identified specialty patient tracking lists (PTLs) to ensure adherence to the Trust's agreed waiting times, resolving any capacity issues as they arise and ensuring that these are highlighted to senior managers. To manage elective activity, as required. Receive and analyse data and information from Finance and Information Services to ensure that: a. Emergency i. Monitor emergency access targets and key performance indicators. b. Medicine i. Proactively manage all speciality outpatient waiting lists in line with the Trust Access Policy ensuring maximum efficiency. ii. Arrange adequate capacity to ensure '18 Week', diagnostic waiting times and cancer targets are met, including confirming Patient Pathway Identifiers (PIDs) as required. iii. Liaise with the Service Manager regarding the identification and authorisation of any additional clinics.
