We're searching for a Clinical Audit and NICE Manager to join our thriving team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) based at our Trust HQ in Littlemore, Oxford. The role is to act as the corporate clinical audit specialist, contributing to the effective integration of quality improvement and clinical audit working alongside divisional leads. You'll have overall management of the clinical audit and effectiveness functions as well as lead, support and manage the Clinical Audit Team. You'll work closely with governance leads and/or clinical teams to actively support and monitor the progress of audit programmes, attend any relevant meetings, or forums and provide opportunities for clinical audit training as required. If you have a strong background in QI methodology, clinical audit and NICE guidance then we'd love to hear from you! Plan audit projects, coordinate clinical involvement, liaising with colleagues at all levels to encourage collaboration, avoid duplication and ensure the best use of resources. This includes monitoring the overall workload of the department to ensure effective time management and priority of workload. Work in close partnership with quality improvement and clinical audit leads across the Trust providing expertise and guidance to develop evidence-based standards for audit which are clear unambiguous and, measurable. Take project proposals to relevant governance management groups for ratification and ongoing status reports of audit activity within the directorate. Support the Oxford Healthcare Improvement Manager by representing the department at other internal and external meetings where required. Design audit/QI approaches, analysis & interpretation of data which can be contradictory and complex in nature, requiring a high level of interpretation skills. Ensure the timely production of reports within the requested deadlines and ensure that audit findings are acted upon and that improvements in patient care are captured, disseminated, and reported through the reporting structures.
