HMP Full Sutton is a Category A mens prison near Pocklington. It is a half an hour drive from York city centre. The prison is purpose built and has capacity to hold 560 men in conditions of high security. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team, and work in a varied environment, where you will gain experience across primary care, including emergency response, working on the wings, clinics, health promotion, and more! No 2 days are the same in this challenging, yet rewarding and supportive environment. Hours: This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, usually 3 long shifts. Shifts are: 07:00 - 19:00 19:00 - 07:00 You will predominantly work day shifts Monday - Sunday, but occasional nights will be required. Salary: This position is full time , youll receive an annual salary up to £28,690 per annum - depending on experience. How will we support you? Some of your duties will include: Ensure continuity of care for all patients, and deliver outstanding care at all times Work across all areas of care, including inpatients, clinics, primary care, health promotion, bloods etc Respond to emergency situations as needed Work holistically with your patients and other healthcare staff, including nurses, nursing associates, pharmacy etc Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics If you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning.
