The Project, in short, is to provide preventative pelvic floor education, promote early identification of those at risk of pelvic floor dysfunction and ensure pelvic health treatments are timely, accessible and equitable to all. The role will include Service Improvement Project work Clinical teaching and training of midwives and other HCP's Networking, auditing and presenting data Supporting the implemenationofOasi Care bundle Clinical work will be included in the role once the service is established. Supporting the Physio Lead in ensuring every woman has access to pelvic health education antenatally and postnatally via a digital platform or in person sessions. Project work to ensure women in the hard to reach communities can access education and support for pelvic floor dysfunction and make pelvic floor education accessible in there language. The aim is to improve the standard of the pelvic health service across the Black Country To provide professional leadership across all aspects of perinatal pelvic health. Support and work with the teams across the Maternity department to develop and maintain a programme plan to facilitate the implementation of a clinically based teaching and competency based assessment package to aim towards achieving better care in women with obstetric pelvic floor injury.
