We are looking to employ a Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager 37.5hrs per week to join our friendly, hardworking and ambitious respiratory ward team. Assist the Ward Manager / Charge Nurse in the smooth running of the ward and ensure safe staffing levels and skill mix by providing leadership and supervision as necessary. Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care, whilst operating as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. Take charge of the Ward in the absence of the Ward Manager, and allocate work to other staff as appropriate.
