An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Registered Nurse to join the Beech A/B team.
We are looking to employ a Band 6 Deputy Ward Manager 37.5hrs per week to join our friendly, hardworking and ambitious respiratory ward team. If you would like to lead a ward team and be able to develop your leadership and management skills whilst being supported by the Ward Manager and Quality Matron then this is an excellent opportunity for you .
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills and be committed to driving improvements forward.
Manage and provide all aspects of patient care, whilst acting in accordance with the code of professional conduct (NMC) and other professional guidelines.
Assist the Ward Manager / Charge Nurse in the smooth running of the ward and ensure safe staffing levels and skill mix by providing leadership and supervision as necessary.
Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care, whilst operating as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. Take charge of the Ward in the absence of the Ward Manager, and allocate work to other staff as appropriate.
