The post holder is an experienced professional qualified to Masters Level, who will act asa clinical leader within the Cardiology Service to provide a service workingalongside the Cardiology Consultants and nursing team. They will autonomously clinically assess and manage patients referred to the Cardiology service in conjunction with the consultant to support the faster diagnosis including referrals from the emergency department, the acute medical footprint and face to face/virtual clinics. The post holder will be instrumental in providing relevant education for patients and lifestyle advice for their condition. The post holder will be required to ensure evidence-based care is delivered to patients and will be involved in the audit of practice, including leading on the Trusts contribution to service improvement to achieve the National standards in collaboration with consultant colleagues.
