In addition, you will manage an outpatient caseload, which includes weekly diabetic and general clinics. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in areas such as ICU, gastroenterology, surgery and neurorehab. The post holder will also be involved in staff and patient education programmes. The post holders will be involved in clinical audits, department wide projects and service improvements. The department is committed to continuing professional development, with one of the Trust's key priorities being to develop a quality workforce through an effective appraisal system. There is a well-established borough-wide Dietetic network which offers peer support and there are good opportunities and guidance for ongoing personal development. The post holder will be supported by a Senior Dietitian involving regular clinical supervision. Job Purpose 1.
