The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. You will act as the central point of contact for our patients and manage enquiries, messages and the distribution of information, liaising with external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers. Greeting patients and visitors in an efficient and courteous manner. Care navigating patients to the appropriate service. Booking, cancelling and amending appointments. Providing an effective and polite telephone enquiry service. Assisting service users with all enquires. Carrying out reception administration duties. Ensuring up to date maintenance of computerised patient records. Issuing and distribution of repeat medication requests. Facilitating the smooth running of clinical teams' surgeries.
