Dr Kumar & Dr Sinha Practice in Shoebury, Southend on Sea, is seeking a part-time Care Navigator/Receptionist to join their team for 25 hours a week. The role involves a variety of reception duties, providing essential support to a multidisciplinary team, and serving as the primary point of contact for patients. Responsibilities include managing patient inquiries, greeting visitors, booking and amending appointments, maintaining computerized patient records, and facilitating communication with external agencies. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to ensuring smooth operations within the practice.
Dr Kumar & Dr Sinha Practice, located in the heart of Shoebury, has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive care navigator/receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis, for 25 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. You will act as the central point of contact for our patients and manage enquiries, messages and the distribution of information, liaising with external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
- Greeting patients and visitors in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Care navigating patients to the appropriate service.
- Booking, cancelling and amending appointments.
- Providing an effective and polite telephone enquiry service.
- Assisting service users with all enquires.
- Carrying out reception administration duties.
- Ensuring up to date maintenance of computerised patient records.
- Issuing and distribution of repeat medication requests.
- Facilitating the smooth running of clinical teams' surgeries.
