The Team are responsible for the management and coordination of social work learning and development across the adult and childrens service areas including our in-house provider services. We also coordinate multi-agency training for the Northumberland Children and Adults Safeguarding Partnership (NCASP). We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic person to join our team who will share our commitment to workforce development and who will lead on the delivery of a range of programs to meet the requirements of our service areas. Requirements of the role: Hold a relevant professional qualification at degree level e.g.: Social Work Degree, PGCE, DipSW, health & social care related degree. You will have a detailed understanding of social care legislation, regulations and professional best practice and in particular, in relation to child protection, adult safeguarding, mental capacity and statutory assessment processes. Hold a valid UK driving licence and be able to meet the transport requirements of the post to travel to different locations across the County.
