The team is responsible for a wide range of information analysis relating to patient information, business and performance management indicators and clinical and data quality issues. The Team is integral to the Trust's performance management framework and it's specialist knowledge plays an important part in operational decision-making. The role sits within the Finance Directorate and will work closely with the Digital Directorate to deliver the requirements of the role and to deliver increasing collaboration between the two teams. The Lead Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for providing external and internal customers business intelligence reports designed to support and deliver the Trust's objectives. The post holder will be responsible for improving and innovating reports to fully exploit data rich clinical systems and providing interpretive analytics and commentary. The Lead will need to have expertise in specific areas but will also be expected to understand all areas of activity and support others to complete their tasks and improve reporting processes. The post holder will be expected to lead some development of extracts, reports, dashboards and help end-users of the report to analyse and interpret the information.
