The project aims to scope and build capacity within the South East for long term Podiatry/ AHP apprenticeships delivery. Alongside learning and development colleagues and HEIs; the role will involve liaison with key stakeholders to build a peer network of podiatry apprentices across the South East with a localised training offer to support recruitment and retention. You'll be working closely with the Learning and Development quality assurance team to ensure this and future programmes align with the ESFA and OFSTED requirements. If you have strong project management skills, experience in education or workforce development, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, this role is for you. You'll work closely with colleagues; including senior management, clinical leads and support services to deliver this key strategic project for the Trust. Whilst this is not a clinical role, the emphasis will be on leading projects which contain clinical pathway transformation and which require communication and interaction with all levels of clinical and non-clinical staff to support the successful delivery of the project. Map educational initiatives for the podiatry workforce, alongside the HEI providers, to create a localised peer network of learners and increased support for the workforce- this could include the development of eLearning modules, videos, webinars, and infographics, aligned with the podiatry apprenticeship competencies Identify key capabilities and capacity within podiatry and AHP services, ensuring all educational content aligns with national standards. Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to establish a project steering group, incorporating input from podiatry staff, patient representatives, and the wider AHP workforce. Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to agreed schedules.
