Our team in Truro is looking for a Recovery Worker to join them in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. If you are enthusiastic, creative and passionate about helping others, we'd love to hear from you. The role will include covering the courts, prisons and custody suites on a regular basis. The post holder will work with people awarded a community sentence where mental health, drugs and/or alcohol have been identified and work closely and collaborate with partner agencies to manage these orders. You will work directly with individuals released from prison and support multi-agency plans around them. Find out more about us here. We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. The successful candidate will work as part of the Criminal Justice Liaison Team alongside in-house services which include prescribing and clinical, outreach, hospital and adult community and a residential rehabilitation facility. This exciting role will continue to allow us to improve the work we have already developed around supporting clients within the criminal justice system.
