These posts are funded by Barts Health and are therefore Trust Grade appointments. They attract the MN37 payscale, 1A banding supplement (50%) and London weighting. These posts may also assist successful candidates who are working towards Stage 1 RCoA competencies. The Department of Perioperative Medicine provides anaesthesia for all surgical specialities and is involved in many exciting initiatives. The Critical Care Unit/s comprises 17 beds. There are 800 - 900 admissions per year. The maternity unit provides an engaging training environment and has 4500-5000 deliveries/year. On calls are on a 1:8 rolling rota and will be in either Emergency theatres, critical care or obstetrics.
