To be responsible for the obstetric training of junior staff and undergraduate students. To assist in the smooth running of the newly established Gynae Assessment Unit and the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit in line with National Guidelines, liaising with other colleagues and the Gynaecology Modern Matron. The ability/interest in performing laparoscopic hysterectomies would be advantageous. To be involved in appraisal and assessment of junior staff and undergraduate students. To take an active role in Clinical Governance, and lead and participate in audit projects relevant to clinic To promote research and academic activity within the department To attend Trust and Departmental induction and mandatory training To be responsible for Governance in Gynaecology in conjunction with the Matron for Gynaecology Services.
