We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Trainee Clinical Nurse Specialist / Nurse Hysteroscopist to join our team. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team with support from women's health and cancer services. We will support you and provide full training and professional development for you to support patients through their pathway. Interested applicants are invited to arrange informal visits. For further information please contact Shawn Marie Robinson - Lead Nurse Hysteroscopist 0207 288 5279/3069 To be supported and trained to perform outpatient hysteroscopy (diagnostic and operative) and provide follow up care to the patients. To run Post Menopausal Bleeding clinics and perform clinical examination and assessment following training and competency achievement. To work collaboratively with the cancer pathway team in providing patient care and appointments within waiting time targets. To understand the gynaecological cancer pathway and support patients receiving cancer diagnosis. About us To support the hysteroscopy service in the outpatient setting with a view to undertaking nurse hysteroscopist training To ensure a high quality of service is met with adherence to national safety standards. To refer patients to other clinicians as appropriate and seek consultant advice as necessary. Escalate any concerns to lead consultant / service manager. To work towards a qualification in hysteroscopy and following training, be competent in performing hysteroscopy assessments for patients.
