We require you to demonstrate experience within an administrative role and good knowledge using Microsoft packages. Ideally we would prefer candidates to have experience within rostering but this is not essential. The primary focus of the post is to ensure that the Trust provides high quality patient centred care reflecting the beliefs outlined in the Trust and Divisional philosophy. The post holder will support the Manager of the Nurse Bank and the Office Manager in ensuring efficient and effective administration of the Nurse Bank service, which includes the Admin & Clerical Bank and the Interpreter Service. About us 1. Be responsible and accountable for receiving and acting upon telephone requests to supply bank nurses, admin and clerical staff and interpreters as required 2. Ensure effective working and liaison with Clinical/Departmental staff in the provision of temporary staffing 3. Accurately input requests from paper records, or e-mail and automated telephone service from wards/departments 4. Ensure effective communication with the wards/departments regarding requests, vacancies and cancellations etc 5. Participate in the cover of the service over a seven day period 6. Participate in the maintenance of efficient and effective administration systems e.g. database, data input, recruitment process, filing, post and stock control (stationery) 7. Ensure recruitment packs are always available to send to prospective applicants 8. Assist in the induction of new staff to the Nurse Bank office 9. Assist other team members in their individual roles within the team i.e. Recruitment, Finance, Training, Special Projects, Admin & Clerical & Interpreters 10. Open and sort mail distributing it appropriately 11. Photocopy documentation as necessary 12. Participate in team meetings 13.
