You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team on this Nurse Led Unit working closely with Catheter Labs and Nurse Practitioners. In return, you will be provided with a Trust and local induction to the systems with good support from our Practice Educator and Ward Mentor to enrich your cardiology skills and experience. You will be working in rotation between day case unit James Hope Ward and elective overnight Charles Pumphrey Unit that run five (5) days cardiology procedure service. James Hope Ward has 3 bays of 3 trolleys that operates from 07:30 to 19:30 Monday to Friday. Charles Pumphrey Unit consists of 7 beds for overnight stay elective patients and is open from Monday 7:30 to Saturday 15:00. Both are challenging and fast paced unit working to meet the increasing demands on St. Georges Cardiology service as a regional tertiary center delivering high quality care.
