What to expect
First, we'll enable your camera & microphone and then ask you to record a short introduction about yourself, about 30 seconds long, to make sure your camera is working ok.

Then, we'll ask you to answer one or more questions of your choice from the list below:
1. Can you describe your experience working with children and young people who present with emotional wellbeing or mental health issues?
2. What specific therapeutic techniques do you find most effective when counselling young clients, and why?
3. How do you assess the emotional wellbeing of children and young people, and what tools or methods do you use?
4. Could you provide an example of a successful intervention you've implemented with a young person? What were the outcomes?
5. How do you approach confidentiality, especially when working with minors and their families?
6. How would you foster effective communication and collaboration with education settings in your area?
7. Can you discuss a time when you worked with external stakeholders (e.g., schools, parents, other healthcare providers) to support a child's wellbeing?
8. What strategies would you use to promote a whole school approach to mental health?
9. How do you tailor your counselling approach when working with groups versus individual clients?
10. Can you give an example of a workshop or group session you’ve facilitated? What was the focus, and how did you measure its success?
11. How do you evaluate the effectiveness of your counselling interventions?
12. What metrics or feedback mechanisms do you utilise to assess client progress and outcomes?
13. What experience do you have in providing supervision to less experienced practitioners, and how do you approach this mentorship role?
14. How do you ensure that all team members are supported in their professional development and training needs?
15. Working in mental health can be challenging. How do you maintain your own mental health and resilience while supporting others?
16. Describe a particularly challenging case you’ve encountered in your career. How did you handle it, and what did you learn from the experience?
17. Imagine a child is reluctant to engage in counselling sessions. How would you approach building rapport and encouraging their participation?
18. If a parent expresses concern about your intervention's effectiveness, how would you manage that conversation and what steps would you take?
