The apprenticeship is a fulltime programme and you will be required to work 37.5 hours per week. The apprenticeship will be delivered by the Open University over 3 years or 2 years if you are an Assistant Practitioner or Nursing Associate. You will received 6 hours of study time per week and undertake placement across the Trust to meet the NMC requirements of the apprenticeship. As an Apprentice Nurse you will be working towards the role, responsibilities and accountabilities of a qualified Registered Nurse as per the job description attached, under the appropriate level of supervision (in relation to the stage of programme) of an NMC registered professional.
