The North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is offering an internal opportunity for employees to apply for the role of Apprentice Nurse Degree in EAU, SDEC, and Ward 6 at WCH in Whitehaven. This apprenticeship seeks current Healthcare Assistants and Assistant Practitioners who aspire to become Registered Nurses and is structured as a three-year full-time program, supported by the Open University. Trainees will work 37.5 hours per week, receive six hours of dedicated study time, and complete placements within the Trust to meet Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) requirements. The role encompasses developing the responsibilities and accountabilities of a qualified Registered Nurse, under the supervision of an NMC registered professional.
