The role of medical receptionist is to support the clinical team by signposting patients to the appropriate healthcare professional or service, working as part of the practices multidisciplinary team such as physiotherapists and mental health nurses. General practice is a challenging environment that requires a calm and caring approach with the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player who has customer service/patient experience, offers excellent communication skills. Duties will include dealing with patients by telephone and face to face whilstproviding administrative support to assist with the day-to-day running of the health centre.
