You will need to be motivated, organised and able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. You will need to have experience of working with a variety of different people. The ability to use computers is desirable in this post, as some administrative and clerical duties are involved. You will need to have either experience working within a health care setting and ideally worked as a therapy assistant. You must have a clear understanding of the role of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. You will receive comprehensive trust and service induction, regular supervision and annual appraisal and a training programme to support your development. Post holders will work their core hours Monday to Friday, they may also be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays on a roster system. About us Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy provides key therapeutic assessments and interventions to patients in order to promote independence and facilitate optimum function for individuals working with patients, families and carers and the multi-disciplinary team to achieve agreed outcomes for patients. The Therapy Support Worker will contribute to the provision of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy within a specified clinical area.
