We are looking for an enthusiastic therapist ready to step into this advanced role, who is able to embrace the challenges and opportunities of working in an acute trust environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist in the speciality of Respiratory Medicine to deliver assessments and treatments across the Inpatient wards as well as taking on an Advanced Therapist / Team Leader role on the County site. The post holder will be working alongside an experienced Respiratory specialist and within a team of Advanced Therapists with expertise including, neurology, rehabilitation, emergency care and palliative care. To work as a specialised practitioner managing the clinical delivery of care in a specialised area. To lead the clinical team within your area and organise staff and resources to meet service standards and demands. Patients include the acute and chronic respiratory, multi pathology / complex patients, neurological, cognitively and perceptually impaired To be responsible for the provision of specialist training to therapy staff and other members of the MDT. Use analytical and problem solving skills to interpret, analyse and evaluate complex information from a variety of sources To provide cover for other teams within the Directorate based on your knowledge, skills and competencies in order to meet changing priorities and service demands.
