To provide support for junior colleagues, students, Clinical Sisters and Ward Manager, adhering to national and trust guidelines. To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to take charge of any nursing shift as required. About us To co-ordinate and provide skilled nursing care (without direct supervision) to children and young people, in accordance with responsibilities under the NMC Code of Conduct. Strategic and Service Responsibility Promote effective working relationships with all departments. Provide advice regarding management of children in other areas throughout the trust i.e. Accident and Emergency department. Participate in shared care of children with other paediatric centres and community nursing team. Governance Evaluate current research findings and if appropriate implement into practice on the ward. Promote quality of care delivery and participate in the audit process at ward and trust level. Participate in the investigation of any complaints received as required.
